Mount Royal Park
Mount Royal Park is the site of almost ten works produced during the first International Sculpture Symposium of North America, which was held on Mount Royal in 1964. The sculptures erected facing the Smith House, with their rough craftsmanship and massive forms, exemplify the modernist art movement sweeping Québec at the time. Let the Monument to Sir Georges-Étienne Cartier, which welcomes you at the Park Avenue entrance, be your guide.
