The artwork is composed of various sculptural elements spread over the exterior wall of the Maison de la culture Mercier and on the lawn in front of it. A red-coloured arrow sculpture points toward the upper left-hand corner of the wall, and a second arrow, this one blue, skirts the corner of the building. A yellow window frame, on a steel support, is installed in front of a spotlight. A second window frame, attached to the wall by an angle iron, is presented in perspective. A red-coloured steel rod, anchored to the ground and leaning on the wall, draws the eye toward the window frame. Finally, six steel tubes of various sizes, painted white, are arranged on the wall at regular intervals by decreasing order of size.

The ensemble formed by all of these steel elements creates a rhythmic movement that enlivens the building’s façade and generates a sense of depth. When night falls, the beam from the spotlight transforms our perception of the composition by casting shadows on the elements.
