The artwork is situated in Parc Ladauversière, on a small hill near the tennis courts and the outdoor public swimming pool. It sits on an imposing pedestal, the hexagonal base of which is covered with green tiles on the sides and topped with a concrete dome on which metallic bands are arranged in vertical lines. A male figure made of bronze stands atop the grouping. He carries a suitcase in his right hand and a shoulder bag. He is imposing physically: his shoulders are square, his torso slightly protruding, and his eyes are fixed on the horizon.
